Draft for review. These pages are plain-language drafts to structure the product. Have a qualified lawyer review and adapt them for your entity, the data licences you hold and Indian securities rules before launch.
Risk disclosure
CoTrader is not investment advice. It provides market information and planning tools. It does not recommend, solicit or endorse any trade, strategy, strike or security, and it does not manage money.
Options trading carries substantial risk. You can lose more than the premium you collect, and selling uncovered options can cause losses larger than your capital. Many participants lose money.
Probabilities are market-implied. Probability of profit, expected move and similar figures come from option prices and a statistical model. They are not forecasts and can be wrong.
Meters are descriptive. The Market read shows conditions and how each reading has behaved historically. Historical hit rates do not guarantee future results, and we have found that most such indicators show no durable edge.
Data may be delayed, interrupted or wrong. Rely on your broker's own screens before placing any order.
You decide and you trade. CoTrader never places, modifies or cancels orders. Consult a SEBI-registered adviser if you need advice.
Not registered, and no tips. CoTrader is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst. It gives no buy or sell calls, tips, targets or stop-loss recommendations. Anything resembling a level or a lean (for example a "bearish lean" meter or a strategy you build yourself) is a description of current market conditions or your own plan, not a recommendation.
Studies and back-tests are not promises. Statistics about how patterns or readings behaved in the past are shown for context. They are based on limited history, may contain errors and ignore brokerage, taxes, slippage and your own behaviour. Do not treat any figure as a promise of profit.
Most individual traders in derivatives lose money. SEBI's own studies have found that a large majority of individual equity derivatives traders incurred losses. Trade only with money you can afford to lose.
Testimonials and screenshots. Any results shown by CoTrader or by users are examples only and are not typical or guaranteed.
Data and delays
Source. Prices, option chains and open interest come from licensed market data services. CoTrader calculates implied volatility, Greeks, expected move, probabilities and the other measures itself from that data.
Timing. The terminal refreshes about once a second. The data can lag the exchange by a few seconds or more, and charts rebuild from one-minute data. The header shows whether the feed is live, delayed or offline.
Outages. The feed is sourced from a single connection that must be renewed every trading day. If it lapses, the terminal shows no data until it is restored. The service is not guaranteed to be available during market hours.
Accuracy. Calculated values depend on model assumptions (for example the interest rate, dividends and the use of mid prices). They may differ from your broker's numbers. Always confirm prices, margins and charges on your broker's own platform before you trade.
Market hours. Indian index options trade Monday to Friday, 09:15 to 15:30 IST, except exchange holidays. Outside those hours the terminal shows the last available session.
No redistribution. The data is for your personal use inside CoTrader. Copying, scraping, republishing or reselling it is not allowed.
